Quiche with Ham and Zucchini

Ingredients

  • 1 zucchini
  • 50 g all-purpose flour
  • 375 ml whole milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 g grated cheddar
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley
  • Butter (for greasing)

Preparation Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 °C.
  2. Grease baking dishes with butter.
  3. Dice the ham.
  4. Grate the zucchini, with the skin if desired.
  5. In a bowl, mix flour with milk.
  6. Whisk eggs into the flour mixture.
  7. Add grated cheddar, diced ham, grated zucchini, a pinch of nutmeg, and black pepper to taste.
  8. Divide the mixture into the greased baking dishes.
  9. Bake for 45 minutes until the top is golden and the filling is set.
  10. Remove the quiches from the oven and let cool slightly.
  11. Garnish with parsley.
  12. Serve with a salad and fresh baguette.
