                Open-Faced Sandwiches with Salami
Ingredients
- 8 slices of white bread
 - Horseradish butter (for spreading)
 - 50 g hard cheese (e.g., Emmental or Edam)
 - 1 hard-boiled egg
 - Olives (for garnish)
 - 1 red pepper (for garnish)
 - Mayonnaise (to taste)
 
Preparation Steps
- Prepare the Bread: Spread each slice of bread with horseradish butter.
 - Add Toppings: Place a slice of salami on each slice of bread.
 - Add Cheese: Slice or grate the hard cheese and add it on top of the salami.
 - Add Egg and Vegetables: Slice the hard-boiled egg and add it to each sandwich. Cut the red pepper into thin strips and place them on the sandwiches.
 - Garnish: Decorate each sandwich with olives and add a small amount of mayonnaise if desired.
 - Serve: Serve the sandwiches fresh, optionally garnished with a sprig of parsley.
